‘Off the beaten trek’

Dingle

The Dingle Peninsula is the westernmost point in Ireland and arguably Europe. It is renowned for its rugged beauty and quiet clean beaches, the national graphic once cited it as ‘the most beautiful place on earth’.

Much of Dingle and it's surrounding towns is a Gaeltacht area, where the Irish language is widely spoken in the home, workplace and at school.

The Dingle peninsula has something for everyone, fantastic places to stay, unbeatable restaurants, pubs with unbelievable musicians and not to mention ‘craic’!

There's also plenty to do and see, great walks, kayaking, cycling, boat tours, old archeological sites and even a resident dolphin, fungi!

Here are a few personal recommendations of places to stay and things to do!
